ABOUT US

Our vision for Wild Goose Glamping was to give others the chance to enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and glimpses of many types of wildlife that we enjoy seeing from our windows on a daily basis.

We wanted to provide a private, quiet getaway for visitors to unwind, recharge and connect to nature, which would be an ideal base for exploring the many attractions in the surrounding area.

Wild Goose Glamping was established in 2021 using pods built in the nearby village of Kinnesswood. There are 2 fully equipped, double insulated, Glamping pods (Greylag and Pinkfoot).

We are situated just off the A911, one mile from the picturesque village of Scotlandwell in Kinross shire, on a family run small farm in the Loch Leven Carse. Visitors to the pods can enjoy panoramic views towards the Bishop Hill, the Ochil Hills, Benarty and the Cleish hills

This location is ideal as a base for visiting Edinburgh, St Andrews, Stirling, Perth and the East Neuk of Fife, and provides an ideal stop off point before travelling further north in Scotland, for example to the North Coast 500 route, given its close proximity to the M90 motorway.

As suggested by the name, wild geese (both Greylag and Pinkfoot) can often be seen in large numbers very close to the pods from September until April. Roe deer, buzzards and foxes are just some of the other wildlife regularly seen.

The local area has a wealth of places of interest and activities.
